Academic Integrity Committee

  • The Academic Integrity Committee shall:
    1. Coordinate adjudication training for the Academic Integrity Officers, Senior Academic Integrity Officer and members of the Academic Integrity Appeal Board once a year at minimum.
    2. Monitor Academic Integrity processes and outcomes
    3. Review Undergradate Academic Regulation #17 & Graduate Academic Regulation #33 annually and submit any policy recommendations to Senate.

Note: All Academic Integrity Officers shall receive a course release 

  • The composition of this committee shall be as follows:
    1. The Chairperson of Senate or designate (who shall chair);
    2. The Academic Integrity Officers;
      • Two full-time faculty members from the Faculty of Arts
      • Two full-time faculty members from the Faculty of Science
      • Two full-time faculty members from the Sobey School of Business
      • One full-time faculty member from the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research
    3. The Senior Academic Intergrity Officer;
    4. One representative from the Academic Integrity Appeal Board;
    5. One representative from the Registrar’s Office;
    6. One representative appointed by the Library;
    7. One student appointed by the Students’ Association; and
    8. The Academic Integrity Administrator (admin support).
